Process of Decision Making Organizational Buying Behavior
Question: Discuss about the Process of Decision Making Organizational Buying Behavior. Answer: Introduction Organizational buying behavior refers to the process of decision-making in which the organizations establish the need for purchased products and services. The organizations further identify, evaluate and select among alternative brands from the available suppliers (Webster Wind, 2014). The concept is similar to the customer buying behavior with some contextual differences. A few factors that influence business buyers are the macro-environmental factors, interpersonal factors, organizational factors and individual factors (Swani, Brown, Milne, 2014). The aim of this paper is to conduct a secondary research of organizations. The major trends followed by the companies affecting business-to-business (B2B) purchases have been assessed in this study. Figure 1: Organizational Buying Process Source: (Webster Wind, 2014) Trends in Buying Behaviors of Organizations A few trends have been in progress for the B2B buyers. The businesses are increasingly adapting to new channels and technologies to solve critical issues. The users shall have a stronger voice in purchase decision (Swani, Brown, Milne, 2014). The businesses may create a crowd source means of narrowing the potential vendors and solutions. As the purchasing power increases, the buyers are seeking quality sales. After the businesses collect information, they also watch for sales interactions to be brought in earlier into buying processes (Aarikka-Stenroos Jaakkola, 2012). The businesses are also pushing back on content and information overload. The businesses consider the overload as drawbacks to buying behavior. They are concerned about productivity drain in the process. There is a need for more delegation while searching information for products, solutions and services (Lilien, 2016). The businesses are watching for companies who are looking to streamline purchasing with minimal waste. They are identifying best practices at the right value, with the appropriate materials required to operate businesses (Gomes, Fernandes, Brando, 2016). The business models are increasingly adopting technologies such as cloud-based applications. These help in changing the mindset of buyers. The businesses are also seeking lower cost entry into solutions and shifting their focus from large single investment to lower cost. The businesses prefer rental or subscription models (Sashi, 2012). There has been a significant rise in the millennial buyers in B2B process. Their first priority is to have ease in doing business. Their next priority is to have the willingness to work collaboratively with the organizations. Moreover, they look for industry and marketplace expertise (Moncrief, Marshall, Rudd, 2015). Impact on Business-to-Business Purchases One of the critical issues faced by the above organizations while working in a B2B environment is that it must be difficult for the vendors to establish members of different industries. Handshake is a famous organization that has a B2B model that develops software for companies. A few of its customers are Roland, Vega, Starkey and Silhouette. Handshake eliminates costs with manual ordering methods and legacy solutions. They also provide mobile apps and ecommerce websites (Handshake.com, 2016). It is analyzed that the consumers are seldom aware of the business-to-business brands and companies (Webster Wind, 2014). Cisco, an American multinational corporation technology that designs and sells networking equipment globally, has a B2B platform. Cisco enables its customer experience by enabling B2B electronic interactions with the largest channel partners, parts suppliers and logistics provider. They offer solutions that automate business processes such as ordering, configuring and invoicing between Cisco and the partners. The reason behind Ciscos B2B solutions is the ease of doing business. The costs can be lowered while improving productivity and lowering cycle times (Cisco.com, 2016). It can be interpreted that these markets involve few greater clients than that of consumer market (Webster Wind, 2014). It is observed that Tetra Pak invests beyond consumer insights. It offers the best packaging solutions to the food and beverage companies. It also helps in sustaining the most perishable and tasty food without refrigeration for months. Therefore, it is assessed that Tetra Pak offers solutions to the businesses that help them in satisfying customers (Tetrapak.com, 2016). The relationship between B2B is geographically restricted and there is oligopolistic competition. Moreover, the marketing is usually short and more direct. The relationship between buyer and seller is established on a long-term basis (Webster Wind, 2014). Recommendations All the above organizations focus on long-term buyer seller relationship as one of the most influential factors for the purchasing behavior. The organizations can avoid uncertainty and create long-term contracts. The organizations can make both financial and emotional investment with the buyers so that the marketing strategies can be effectively implemented. Several steps can be followed for ensuring marketing success in B2B buying behavior process. Firstly, the businesses must understand its target audience. The businesses need to think beyond specific buyers as the information can be forwarded via social media. The marketing content must be created in a manner that the audience wants. The content must be transformed in a way that is easy to understand. Every organization needs to shift to technological trends. As the millennial focus on getting the business processes easier, innovations can be made for providing ease to the buyers. The impact of social media is greatly affecting th e B2B sector. The social media tactics can be used to engage with the buyers. Marketing campaigns can be designed and promoted on the social media as it is the most popular trend for promotion. The research can be conducted by the customers using direct phone calls and the internet. A user-friendly approach must be adopted based on the feedback provided. The customer behavior can also be analyzed. Conclusion Conclusively, the organization buying behavior is influenced by the marketing strategies followed by businesses. According to the trends, it is observed that the organizations need to focus on internet and content marketing strategy. A few factors that influence business buyers are the macro-environmental factors, interpersonal factors, organizational factors and individual factors. The businesses are seeking companies who are looking to streamline purchasing with minimal waste. The millennial expect to carry on their businesses with ease due to which they prefer business-to-business model. The businesses need to think beyond specific buyers as the information can be forwarded via social media. References Aarikka-Stenroos, L. Jaakkola, E. (2012). Welfare Essays (1214 words) - , Term Papers
Welfare Public assistance, also known as welfare, is not free money. Public assistance benefits many people who have a low income or no means of income at all. The benefits available are based on the level of income for different sized families and in different states. Welfare is also not to be provided in a biased manner to anyone who applies for it. Welfare in the United States Federal and State Governments serve the financially challenged through about 60 public assistance programs. Most look to receive help through one of the three major programs. These programs are the healthcare programs Medicaid and Medicare, Aid to Families with Dependant Children (AFDC), or the food stamps program. These are all the advantages to public assistance. Even though the welfare system provides money, medical care, food, housing, or other things for most people in need, it puts a dent in the U.S.'s economy. There are too many single jobless parents, elderly, disabled, and others who are in need the public assistance who either never get it or are dependent on it. Yet, there are still many problems in supplying all this to the needy, which is a concern many have. This paper will discuss the programs individually explaining how good causes can lead to a dent in the economy. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Service oversee medical care given to the needy and the elderly through Medicare insurance or the basic services provided by Medicaid. They both have been around since the late 1960's and have grown with time and in 1977 Medicare was taken over by Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) (World Almanac). Funds vary from state to state. Medicare insures anyone over the age of sixty-five and those possessing certain disabling conditions. Medicaid finishes up the rest and is pertained more toward the needy, and places where services are carried out in the form of health care. In some situations, people who may be able to pay for daily needs, but can't afford large medical bills may also be eligible to receive Medicaid for those services unaffordable to them under the HCFA policy guidelines. Some services paid for by Medicaid and Medicare are bills such as doctor's visits, nursing home care, teaching the blind, and assisting the disabled (World Almanac). Most Medicaid funding comes from the federal government, while the rest is supplied by the state. Each state runs its own medical care programs. Together all Medicare and Medicaid expenses added up to about 334 billion dollars of coverage for 51 million people per year who are qualified for the payments in the 1990's (World Almanac). That wouldn't be so bad if one could find out exactly where all that money actually went considering the Medicaid plan alone almost doubled from the 1980's to the 1990's. It also says nothing about even distribution of the money. The almanac states that the money spent has leveled off toward the end of the 90's, partly because state policies restricting the number of recipients receiving benefits and the overall economy was improving. Another program is the Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC). It provides cash benefits to dependent children and the parents or the guardians taking care of them. Most families that qualify for AFDC have just one parent in the home. About 80 percent of these single parent families are headed women (almanac). AFDC also pays benefits to two-parent families if both parents are unemployed. Most AFDC funding comes from the federal government. The states provide the rest of the money and administer the program. The sizes of a families' payment vary from state to state. The only objection to giving AFDC is how many families lied to qualify for the benefits. Some standards need to be set to go further then just a simple fill in the blank evaluation sheet. There are mothers and guardians who have had children who have received aid to support the child and not even used the aid for the intent it was given. The parents should be informed before they even have a child so they do not ma ke these mistakes that the taxpayer has to pay for. Finally, the Food Stamp Program helps low-income households buy more and

Essay about Family and Good Times
Essay about Family and Good Times Essay about Family and Good Times I went over to my grandparents one weekend; they live out in the country in Lynn Center, Illinois. They own a lot of land, mostly wooded area with an old wooden corncrib and a small pond. Iââ¬â¢ve traveled in these woods and played in the corncrib as a kid numerous times. I would go with my cousins, sibling and sometimes my grandmother. She would teach us about the different bugs, trees, rocks, and animals we encountered along the way. Going back in the woods, I was overcome with a feeling of nostalgia. I remember the times we would get rides in my grandpaââ¬â¢s gator, try to climb the trees, chase after the grasshoppers or even just walk around and find new things. We used to have so much fun. Walking through the woods alone made me miss all the fun times I had as a child. As I child I was carefree, I knew who my friends were and I had no worries about trust and my relationships with others. Growing up, especially in high school Iââ¬â¢ve began to question my friends, I have a whole lot more stress and things are definitely not as simple as they once used to be. The woods were the same woods they used to be, the corncrib is exactly how we left it. Not much has changed, but the person walking through them definitely has. I canââ¬â¢t even remember the last time I walked through the woods, but I know one thing for sure that I have grown up and matured so much since then. While walking through the forest I began to think of all the ways I have changed and I realized a few things. Physically, obviously, my appearance has changed a lot, but emotionally I have changed a whole lot more. I

Aging population in Japan Research Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words
Aging population in Japan - Research Paper Example Despite the challenges, the aging population seems to create new opportunities because people will have longer healthier lives hence extended working years besides different capacities and needs (Lutz 34). The key to survival depends on adaptation on individual, organisational and societal levels. Japan is facing the population-aging crisis now. It is a resource-poor island hence changes in population size and structure tends to present a serious problem. Japan faced a problem of a large not-working population until the 1950s. From 1600-1868, the Edo period, Japan opted to hold down its population through extremely desperate means such as infanticide as well as negligence of the old people (Coulmas 5). Towards late 19 century, the population rose and it was unlikely that japan would ever face a shortage of births. However, that is what Japan is experiencing and has experienced over a couple of past decades. Over the last half century, death rates have reduced and the life span has increased by about 30 years. For women, life expectancy is currently at 82 whereas for men it is 76 (Uhlenberg 134). The number of those aged 65 and above was 14% of the population in 1994 and by the 2010; Japan was among the leading in the world in this measure. In Japan, people in their seventies and eighties are prevalent and even centenarians have increased in number. The difference in population structure is due to factors such as fertility and mortality(Coulmas 25).Women in Japan are no longer in a hurry to get married like in previous generations and when they marry, they sire fewer children. In Japan, unmarried women rarely have babies hence the slow rate of marriages contributes to the decreased young population. Women in japan have also opted on continuing with their education to get better job opportunities compared to those of earlier years. In addition, unmarried men are more than unmarried women hence

How can Facebook influence people psychologically Research Paper
How can Facebook influence people psychologically - Research Paper Example Among the activities in social networks include exchange of news items, events, messages, videos and photos. But on the other side, I noted that researchers like Bowman, Westerman and Claus (2301) observed that social media would not have any impact on computer skills of the user, hence important for me to find out how else this affects humans. Facebook being the most common of these social networking platforms would be analyzed on how it affects its users psychologically. Megen (57) appreciates Facebook as the most popular social media platform. Since its launch in 2004, it has hit a membership of 800 million users, with half this number visiting the site daily. This platform allows users to post status updates, videos and photos and links which would be viewed by their friends or anyone else on the Internet. Products, brands and organizations have pages where liking them, just as would apply on photos, status and videos posted on a userââ¬â¢s wall, expresses agreement with the content. Facebook requires that users identify themselves with their real names thus allowing friends to search friends on the platform using their names, email addresses, workplace or school attended among other aspects. This platform could be accessed from both a computer and a mobile interface with Internet access. Studies by Pempek, Yermolayeva and Calvert (228) enlightened me on the time spent on Facebook with the researchers observing that on average, US college stude nts spent between 10 and 30 minutes daily on Facebook. The current environment dictates that I have to join Facebook so that I interact effectively and regularly with my peers. More so, I have seen many organizations opening their Facebook pages implying that employees operating such accounts have to be equipped with the skills of using the media. On my side, it would mean that for me to benefit from the opportunities that such organizations offer through their fan pages on Facebook, then, I
